Lava today launched a new tablet X80 in India at a price tag of Rs 9,999. The tablet will be available to buy at offline retail stores and multi-brand showrooms across the country. Lava X80 packs in a quad-core Intel Atom processor running at 1.83GHz. The tablet has 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. The processor in the X80 tablet is supported by an Intel Baytrail graphic chipset for gaming requirements. Lava X80 has an 8-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet has a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash on the back and a 3.2-megapixel camera up front. It is powered by a 4,200mAh battery. The X80 tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The tablet also supports 3G connectivity with GSM 900/1800 MHz and 2100 Mbps HSPA support. Lava X80 can also be used for calling using the earphones. The tablet offers manufacturer warranty for a year along with 6 months warranty for the in-box accessories which include battery, headset, charger and a USB Cable
