HP’s latest laptop is the Spectre x360, a variant of the Spectre we reviewed earlier this year. The latter is one of the best-looking computers with a metal and carbon fiber build and the former is the new kid on the block that is being aimed at the middle of the laptop market.
The HP x360 comes with a super-thin design that weighs just 2.8 pounds but has a 12.5-inch Full HD touch display. It also hits the sweet spot between pushing toward the future but still being useful today with two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports and a single USB 3.1 port. This means you can avoid the impending dongle future—at least for now.
If you didn’t guess by the name, you can maneuver the display all the way back in a 360-degree angle to put it in tablet mode and make great use of the touch display.
The x360 also has top-of-the-line specs with a 7th-gen Intel Core i7 chip and 8GB of RAM. The specs can also be configured to something beefier if that’s what you need. The battery, meanwhile, is one of the x360 best features. The 57.8-watt-hour battery will get you over 10 hours of usage, meaning you won’t have to worry about charging throughout the day.
There’s no question, the HP x360 is a sweet machine. It is the perfect blend of power and design. If you are in the market for a laptop, the x360 is one that deserves your consideration.
